How The Game Works
Atlantic City Blackjack Gold is played with eight standard decks of 52 playing cards. Beat the dealer by getting a higher-value hand without exceeding 21. You’ll also win if you hit blackjack, which is an Ace, and any card that is equal to 10. Note that players can choose to have their aces be worth one or 11 points. As a result, your hand total can be soft (including an ace) or hard (without an ace).
When the game starts, players receive two cards face-up. The dealer also receives two cards, one face-up and one face-down. The dealer is allowed to check the hidden card if the face-up card is an Ace or 10. After receiving their two cards, players can opt to Hit, Stand, or Double Down. The dealer must always stand on a hard 17 and blackjack.

In terms of payouts, the game pays 3:2 for blackjack, while all other hands pay 1:1. If the dealer doesn’t have Blackjack, the insurance bet is removed from the table, and the cost is deducted from your balance. If the dealer has Blackjack, the insurance bet pays out at odds of 2:1.
Late Surrender: This allows you to toss away your hand after the dealer checks his cards for blackjack. You’ll still lose your bet if they have blackjack, but opting for a Late Surrender will protect you from losing half your stake if they don't.
