9 Masks of Fire Online Slot Guide

9 Masks of Fire is a 5-reel online slot from Games Global featuring 20 fixed paylines, scatter rewards, free spins, and multipliers. Available among the online slots in Canada, the game combines classic reel-spinning action with African-inspired visuals, tribal masks, blazing fire, and rhythmic drumbeats.

The 5x3 reel layout keeps the gameplay easy to follow, while special symbols introduce additional prize opportunities throughout the game. Inspired by traditional casino-style slots, 9 Masks of Fire blends familiar mechanics with modern bonus features that add extra excitement to the reels.

The sections below cover the game's payouts, symbols, bonus features and more.

9 Masks of Fire has an RTP (Return to Player) of 94.06% and is rated as a medium-volatility slot. RTP shows the theoretical percentage of wagers returned over time, while medium volatility means the game is designed to balance smaller wins with larger feature-based payouts. The game's biggest prize comes from the mask scatter feature, which can award up to 2,000x your total bet.

How Payouts are Awarded

The game uses 20 fixed paylines, meaning every payline is active on every spin. Winning combinations are paid from left to right, and only the highest-paying combination on a payline is awarded. Standard symbol wins are based on your bet per line, while scatter prizes are calculated using your total bet.

Wild symbols help complete winning combinations by substituting for most regular symbols. Scatter symbols follow a different set of rules and do not need to land on a payline to award a prize.

If you're playing using the Jackpot City online casino app, the payout rules, symbols, and bonus features remain the same as the desktop version.

The symbol collection in 9 Masks of Fire combines classic slot icons with feature symbols that drive the game's biggest rewards. While the Fire 7 symbols offer the strongest regular payouts, the scatter mask is responsible for both cash prizes and bonus feature triggers.

Wild Symbol

The wild symbol substitutes for all regular paying symbols to help complete winning combinations across the game's 20 fixed paylines. Wild symbols cannot substitute for scatter symbols.

Scatter Mask Symbol

The mask scatter plays an important role throughout the game. It awards prizes regardless of where it lands on the reels and also triggers the free spins wheel feature when three appear on the qualifying reels.

Based on the maximum bet paytable, scatter prizes can award:

• 3 scatters: 240 credits
• 4 scatters: 1,200 credits
• 5 scatters: 3,600 credits
• 6 scatters: 9,600 credits
• 7 scatters: 24,000 credits
• 8 scatters: 120,000 credits
• 9 scatters: 480,000 credits

Only the highest qualifying scatter prize is paid for a scatter combination.

Fire 7 Symbols

The Fire 7 symbols are the highest-paying regular symbols found on the reels.

The top Fire 7 symbol can award:

• 3 symbols: 600 credits
• 4 symbols: 3,900 credits
• 5 symbols: 9,000 credits

Other Fire 7 symbol variations can award up to 4,800 credits and 1,800 credits for five matching symbols, making them some of the most valuable symbols outside the bonus features.

Classic Slot Symbols

The remaining symbols continue the traditional slot-machine theme and include the Dollar Sign, Bell, BAR, and Cherries.

At the maximum bet level, these symbols can award:

• Dollar Sign: up to 780 credits for five symbols
• Bell: up to 480 credits for five symbols
• BAR: up to 240 credits for five symbols
• Cherries: up to 240 credits for five symbols
